I couldn't order an expensive planner this year from M.Q.- it's the budget, I really enjoy them but I feel guilty spending that much. But I did find a cheaper one (and I didn't skimp on our important liturgical dates!) on Amazon called:
I switched out my old artwork and old clear plastic cover from my old planner by just untwisting the binding at the side. And I switched covers out since this new one was so plain and very black! I couldn't imagine throwing that other cover away with that beautiful artwork (I am pretty sure I paid extra for the clear cover on it to protect it). I noticed I couldn't find any nice tabs for mark the months any more either. So I made my own using
Avery's products and their website. I ordered them from Amazon. Avery is awesome! I make my kids 4-H geology labels on Avery's website, so I have gotten used to navigating it and took me about an hour to pick out my artwork from the web and figure out what I wanted on my tabs. You can do whatever you want as long as it fits inside Avery's boxes. These would be great for cookbooks or bibles as well. Have fun!
This is my "fake" and the cover to my new planner was taken off and put on last years- see below?
And the tabs are super easy to customize and print. Just make sure you load them correctly in your printer!
I made some for my sisters as well, they seem to like them.
If you wondering where we have been as fast as feast days, I haven't done any- due to ZERO desserts for Shannon because my triglycerides were high. So I am still adjusting to the exercise and diet. Maybe eventually when it's not so hard we'll add back the feast day desserts.
